Not my area and can’t really comment properly, but every time I see the 123 mentioned I think of poor snoggle. I am sure he’d have had something to say about the proposed curtailment of the 123 to Turnpike Lane Bus Station…

Not a bad set of proposals. Nice extension to the 91 through Hornsey all the way to Wood Green Station.
Removing the 123 and 232 from the High Road not too bad as it is pretty well served.

I am sure he’d have had something to say about the proposed curtailment of the 123 to Turnpike Lane Bus Station… The High Road has been blighted by roadworks / congestion so I think this isn't so bad, with the 67, 121, 221, 329, W4 there's plenty of other ways to reach Wood Green (plus the Tube). Even getting down Westbury Avenue with the 217, 231, 444 and rush hour traffic can be a mission for the route, as more cars are on the road thanks to the council's LTN schemes 91's planned route up Western Road (shared with 232) is not good, lots of cars queue to get into the NLWA Recycling tip, plus the police station and compound may be affected by extra traffic. Plus road humps won't make for a nice journey...

The Mall is within walking distance of Wood Green, I assume buses will park on Redvers Rd, though it will get crowded with the 67 and 243 already there, unless the 243 parks up in WN...

I am sure he’d have had something to say about the proposed curtailment of the 123 to Turnpike Lane Bus Station… No doubt by looking at that, Snoggle will end up in his usual grumpy mode and the use of angry emojis. In all seriousness, I do think the main concern for the 123 is the local links from the shops along Wood Green High Road to Westbury Avenue, the middle part of Lordship Lane and parts of Bruce Grove where the 123 is currently the only route directly linking those points. I do fully support the 91/N91 proposals and the 232 proposals in most parts.

Hmm, not a bad set of changes. Terrible development name but that’s another issue. Again I am surprised TfL aren’t using the 91 extension as an opportunity to curtail it to Aldwych to maintain reliability.

So Wood Green High Road loses its round a corner link to Westbury Avenue and link to Ilford.
I could have sworn someone in the forum made a prediction years ago that the 91 would be extended to Wood Green.

Not quite as the 14A ran to Turnpike Lane Station rather than Wood Green. It looks like the 123 is being pulled back to Turnpike Lane (using the stand space vacated by the 232) to make room for the 91 at Wood Green.

This will imply that Wood Green will have 2 routes to Trafalgar Square - 29 and 91
Overall ok (not my patch of London) although I would have kept the 123 to Wood Green. Why not keep the 91 till Turnpike Lane (as 91/232 will have a common section anyway) and keep the 123 to Wood Green?

Not sure with the negativity around 123 getting cut back to Turnpike Lane. Wood Green High Road is not Oxford Circus. It is pretty short and people can end up on whatever end to take a bus.
As mentioned this is more creating space for 91 at Wood Green. Also cutting back the 123 probably saves the most money of all options.

It wasn't negativity but merely asking a question and no made any out there comparison of Wood Green being Oxford Circus - if you think it's a great change then good for you
