Seeing as every operator now has "high spec" what operator do you think has the best one?
Personally really like the colours for RATPs one and the wheelchair area painted in black is a nice touch.

Definitely the Abellio one if you ask me. Not just the super comfy seats and the smart colour scheme but the fact they've specified vehicles with nice extra options where applicable like rear destinations, bigger rear window upstairs, glazed front pillars etc. It shows.

Interesting, been on some of the 111s Electroliners and the three 226 E200EVs at WK and found the seats on the 226s EVs (ADL smart seats I think) to be more comfortable than those found on the 111s buses.

Abellio and RATP for the choice of seats which genuinely are an upgrade from before. I'm afraid the Go ahead and Metroline are a slight missed opportunity.

Going off topic slightly but really wish there was one set standard for the high spec. I mean its madness buses are being delivered in 2023 with smart blinds.
We had have one design for the LTs so it could have been done moving forward with the high spec buses,

I’ve long stood for a singular unified bus interior and exterior. Plenty of other cities across the whole planet which also franchise buses manage it. TfL treat buses exactly as they see the users, second rate and second class.

To me no, there far better things I would rather TfL worry about.

TfL should be the focus of the bus network with only minimal evidence of individual operators. TfL go as far to specify a design for the tram network which is run by First, a design for the DLR run by KeolisAmey and the Overground run by Arriva. Even the underground has groups of matching livery to distinguish between deep level and sub surface/surface. It just makes no sense to me that buses don’t have a uniform look to give the impression it is one operator.

The Abellio spec for me is hands down the best, only operator who has actually gone for the glass pillars so far for that extra touch - just wish it was more consistent across the different operators as I've mentioned several times already before.
As for a uniform interior, I do think this should be a thing - my own personal preference would be 1980's LT interior but that would never be done nowadays given how retro it is but something similar to Abellios or the TfL interior that CT Plus, UNO & Sullivans all adopted would be fine

Seeing as every operator now has "high spec" what operator do you think has the best one? Stagecoach's high spec interior is still a bit unclear, since the new Electroliners are inconsistent with their recent refurbishments (of both the novated and original fleet). Unlike the other operators, Arriva are not using leather headrests, while Metroline haven't introduced wood-effect flooring. So really it's between Abellio, Go Ahead and RATP - depending on your preference of colours and seat type.

I think TfL should specify the interior, the new buses on the 199 look great in my opinion.
