It looks incredible. Such a step up in style and presentation from the BYD ADL Enviro200EV (which in itself is a lovely looking vehicle exteriorly). I can't wait to see these buses on the streets of London. I wonder when this vehicle will go into mass production?

Good to see an 11.7m variant now available, which iirc BYD/ADL have stopped doing with the BYD E200EVs.

Interesting to see that the interior render has done away with traditional handrails with only seatback ones. I wonder if this feature will make it into production vehicles for London. If it does I'm not sure it is a good idea.

If it does I'm not sure it is a good idea. The page header features a photo of a single-door blue prototype and that appears to have interior handrails, as well as 'strap-hangers' at the front for standing passengers. Don't take too much away from an artist's impression.

Also checking the updated site, it seems to a zero emission or diesel option from ADL these days. Does anyone produce anything hybrid anymore (if you exclude smart/micros as they are basically a minimal effect to get green credentials), or are they consigned to history?
Also the joint BYD and ADL website evbus.co.uk now redirects to ADL, so looks as though the partnerships is doomed. Not sure how the current E200EV meets the new TfL safety standards, with those bottom wipers (scrapping the bottom of the barrel here) ... but they seems to still be coming into service in 2024?

Aren't bottom wipers fine if the part below them sticks out further in order for wipers to not take impact?

I see that for certain lengths (the seat layout diagram and the interior render) not only will there be the usual front facing seats over the front wheel arch behind the driver but also rear facing ones as well!

I have a feeling that will get changed, seems a but weird to have seats like that with all the new safety features and standards
