SLS5 broke down at West Croydon Bus Station yesterday at around 15:00, saw it with its bonnet up. Given that it had gone out of service at 11:40 it seems this was yet another bus waiting a while for a Sovereign truck to come and collect it.

VLA140 would not be seeing the road again, gearbox was damaged in service about 2 weeks ago, not worth to repair/exchange for 1 month left of service.

DW114 not sounding too healthy on the 466, sounds a bit like a computer starting up when it moves off. This one’s been a bit sick for a while now so not entirely sure why Arriva decided to keep this one instead of DW101 which was probably the healthiest of the batch that have just been withdrawn

Not completely clapped out, but very weird high pitch whine from LT746 when it takes off from traffic lights and bus stops. Almost like what some 2004/05 Dennis Darts have typically done.... If someone sees/catches this out on the usual 24/91/390 rota, do let us know on here!

It’s more like any of the following: a high pitch wheeze out of a - Dennis Dart - 56/57 reg Enviros from RR - 10121 when still clapped - 18211/18212 towards the end of their lives - DN33648 a few weekends ago

LDP274 doing a good impression of an Olympian by vibrating in idle a lot. Otherwise though, a really good bus.
E231 or 233 making a continuous knocking sound from the engine - I could hear it from being inside PVL284!

I meant E400s And to be fair, same applies to those.... high pitch whistle is the best description then maybe.
