The new LOTS TLB is listing 98 new buses I won't deprive them of sales revenue by listing them as they rely on the subs for funds, so better for LOTs if more join. Details should probably be limited to paid up members for first few days. Quite surprising as you generally update this thread. Within a few days it will be public knowledge anyways as to what has been purchased. Overall I get the point you are making. Overall LOTs publish information online as well as in the TLB. In addition they do not make it attractive to the newer generation should by now have an online payment method.

That's fair enough - the only reason I don't sign up is I think their payment option is well past it's date and also that there isn't a sort of roll on option after the first 12 months And the next subscription will have gone up 20% I was wondering what you meant and having now looked, I see it's now £30 - way too much personally for essentially a small magazine - I know of online services for games consoles and certain games being far cheaper than that over a year

Route 25, 28 buses (possibly instead of 262, 473) Streetdeck HEV96 micro hybrids Seeing as that's out in the wild now. Oh dear what an awful choice of allocation, hope they turn out better than the things on the 44. Does anyone know if they're expected to enter service before the ULEZ kicks in?

The 20s order everyone pretty much knew, but we just needed confirmation. As I’ve said before, can’t wait to see them around Loughton/Debden. Although interesting to see only 9 have been ordered for the 20 rather than the 10 as promised in the tender spec. Presuming cuts from the 388 will allow for one of them to move to the 20. Regarding the StreetDecks, I quite like the micro hybrids StreetDecks due to the interesting noise they make, but if they ordered the diesel variant then I would’ve been disappointed. Can’t wait for them to be in service.

I'm more shocked at how low the PVR will be for the 25! can't believe how one of London's busiest routes has been pretty much destroyed.

The diesel StreetDeck couldn't pull skin off a rice pudding so the hybrid variant is much faster, even if the buses are on some of the most congested routes in East London TfL's logic of blaming buses for congestion as excuse to cut them in central London is very strange though. Lets see how all 28 buses cope in the rush hour peaks on the 25

Slightly less worse but still a bad change.

Most likely the 25 will send it's VNs to the 262 and 473 like the 31 has done.
Whislt logical with the City's on the 20 I did think they might have gone for Smart Hybrids to save a bit of money as opposed to the full hybrid as it runs out of London.

The Streetdecks ordered against the tender for the 262 & 473. These are to be used on the 25 until further notice before moving to the 262 & 473.

Probably till the 25's contract is awarded. There is of course no reason why the VNs can't stay on the 262 and 473.
