Can a bus run without it’s wing mirror? A 95 has arrived at Shepherds Bush without it’s wing mirror and it’s picking up passengers but its not moving. No. Mirror, mirror on the floor, can I drive this bus anymore?

Well the bus didn't go beyond the first stop and was subbed.

Is the original E200 and E400 still available or has now been discontinued?

Is the original E200 and E400 still available or has now been discontinued? I would imagine so by now - any newly registered ones would most probably likely to be unsold dealer stock.

Outside of London, Arriva only seem to be ordering ADL vehicles at the moment. Why are they only ordering HVs in London, and not E40H MMCs instead? And why the recent SLS order instead of enviro 200 mmcs?

And why the recent SLS order instead of enviro 200 mmcs? Arriva Merseyside did order 51 Volvo B5LH / Wright Gemini 3 Hybrids which was delivered to them earlier this year. They also have a Wright Streetdeck demonstrator at Medway and I mainly have hearing lot of negatives about that Streetdeck demonstrator. Wright Streetlites hasn't fared too well especially one batch in the North East had required engine replacements several times in its 2 ½ years of service.

Wrightbus recently mentioned that a lot of the faults have been rectified so the ones delivered recently should be ok as well as the attractive deal in place which seems to be taking orders away from ADL.

And why the recent SLS order instead of enviro 200 mmcs? It’s not uncommon for Arriva London to dual source vehicles - this happened before when they were ordering DAFs & Volvos for double deckers and Dennis & DAF for single deckers.

Just seems unusual that the majority of recent Arriva vehicle orders have been E20D or E40D MMCs, but Arriva have never ordered E40H hybrids apart from a small number of HAs. In addition, almost all Arriva hybrids are volvos, but they haven't ordered many volvo diesel DDs since B7TLs.

Was the MCV DD103 the prototype for the MCV EvoSeti?

Was the MCV DD103 the prototype for the MCV EvoSeti? Nope, but it was only the predecessor. If it was a protype, then only one or a small few would've been made, which is not the case.

How many were made? 23 of them where made with 20 of those are with Golden Tours mostly as open top, 2 that went to London as Demonstrator is now at Bath Bus Company and original prototype that went to Wessex Bus is now converted to open and used by City Sightseeing Windsor and Bath.

What euro are the upgraded Volvo B7TLs in London (I.e VLPs, VPs / VPLs / WVLs)? What euro are the SELs?
