Thanks, will keenly wait for the "report" Gemini cycles on some central routes and you can do announcements but can't log in to anything. Optare blinds have 1 - 5 with places like Park, Shops and Museum but the old one was blnded as 244 to QE Hospital The optare can only select 1 LTM as controller shows blank for all other dests

It's one of a number of Ford Transits acquired by London Transport when they started dabbling with minibus operations in the 1970s. This particular bus had Dormobile bodywork, and was new to Finchley (FY) for the H2 in 1979.
The H2 was in the very first batch of routes to be put out to tender in 1985, and was retained by London Buses using new Transits, although it appears that FS24 hung around at Finchley as a spare and/or driver trainer until the loss of the H2 to R & I in 1989.

Thanks,I usually associate Ford Transit with a modern minibus Is the rouuting/destination of the H2 the same as when it was in 1985?

Which is faster from Penge to Bromley South, 227 or 358? Under normal circumstances, 227, even allowing for the short walk you have to do in Bromley.

Which is faster from Penge to Bromley South, 227 or 358? The 227 doesn't actually go to Bromley South but it would be the quicker route, the 358 takes the scenic route!

When a bus gets terminated early, what happens? Does it turn around and continue on the route towards the other destination?

When a bus gets terminated early, what happens? Does it turn around and continue on the route towards the other destination? Depends on what the controller decides Sometimes will go straight back into service other way Sometimes will wait until a specific time or for a gap (when it or another bus should have been in service, but is running late) Obviously the wait shouldn't be that long (and less time than if it had run to next turning point and back), otherwise it may as well have done the extra running in service.

This, but could also mean the driver is late and is about to be finished for the day (usually on the later shifts) so could potentially be going to the garage.
Or terminate early due to road closure and yea go other way back in service. Most passengers get offended when bus gets 'turned' and goes in service other way after curtailment as they get dropped off and they see bus back in service going other way.

When a bus gets terminated early, what happens? Does it turn around and continue on the route towards the other destination? Sometimes the driver can be asked to run dead from the curtailment point to the first stop at the normal terminus to start going back the other way (providing the dead run routing is quicker than its normal routing).
A example can be is a 123 gets terminated early at Lordship Lane (Downhills Way) where the bus alights the passenger onboard the bus at The Roundway/West Arm stop then run dead via the 243 routing to Wood Green (Which is quicker & direct compared to the normal 123 routing via Turnpike Lane Station) and then restarts going back to Ilford at the first stop in Wood Green.
