What would be the best route to take to Brentford from Roehampton/Pitney Heath via Bus? Want to try out the Brentford Festival Free Routemaster shuttle service (bored ) on the 1st September (Sunday) and was wondering what the most effective route would be. Would it be 265 to Barnes,33 to Castelnau,Walk to Hammersmith Bus Station,267 to Brentford?

You need to time it right though, I think it's only one bus per hour on the Brentford line. Also take a map with you as you may need to give the driver directions (that's happened to me more than once on that line).

Can also go other way around Richmond Park, 65 Brentford-Kingston and 85 or K3 to Roehampton or buses from Putney-Richmond and get 65 Richmond-Brentford or even take, the 33 to Twickenham then take 267 (which is shorter walk than Hammersmith bridge)

Ah sorry I messed up. Just realised that the line is only closed as far as Kew Bridge, so the rail replacement bus will take you to Kew Bridge then you're supposed to take the train. Of course you could always walk (it's not very far) or catch a regular bus (237/267) from Kew Bridge.
If you're still interested in trying out the rail bus, it leaves Barnes at xx39 and is supposed to take 28 mins, but may well be quicker depending on the driver! At Barnes make sure you take the Kew Bridge bus and not the Richmond / Twickenham bus.

So you know the electric noise the 47/185 hybrid fleet are making (I guess Volvos), are they there just for sake of noise so that people can hear it coming or it's some kind of hybrid technology recharging or whatever? I really started to dig that sound lately lol. I think I know the noise you mean. It sounds like a belt winding or something and is a low humming sound. It’s not fake. It kinda sounds like the aircon but I’m not 100% sure what it is tbh as the aircon is usually louder on these B5LH

Is it just a conicidence is some registration plates contain the code of the garage they're used at? I'v noticed that VH45310-7 have LF19FW* plates, whilst at Stagecoach 11002-9 have YY18TL* plates

Also, VH45112-13 has BT13*** number plates at BT

Also, VH45112-13 has BT13*** number plates at BT At BT, before the fleet renumbering and alteration of route 13, there was VH13 (with a BT13 reg) working the 13. Don’t remember if the running number for the 13 back then also had a 13.

Do Smart Hybrid Cities exist? The City comes in an E40D and an E40H variant so I assume if someone wants a Smart Hybrid City ADL will easily be able to make one.
