How were drivers curtailing before the ibus and radio days? (I don't mean like 40 years go, but maybe like early/late 90s)...would they just curtail themselves based on duty cards if they were late or?

So you know the electric noise the 47/185 hybrid fleet are making (I guess Volvos), are they there just for sake of noise so that people can hear it coming or it's some kind of hybrid technology recharging or whatever? I really started to dig that sound lately lol.

No its the other non diesel noise, like massive fan noise or something. Like the kind of noise transformer stations make.

Is the MCV Evolution still available? If it’s not what replaced it?

I don't think B5LHs make fake noises to make people aware that the bus is coming. I think the erring sound is audible when the air cooling system starts working on the bus. The erring sound is heard in both diesel and electric mode.

Have the CS4 works on Tooley Street begun yet? I work at London Bridge and no work had started as of last week unless it was started this weekend.

Have the CS4 works on Tooley Street begun yet? Yes. The works started on Tooley Street a few weeks ago (maybe a month by now) by City Hall.
