Metroline's OME2664 presently at Tower Transit's LI, I'm guessing for evaluation in relation to the new contracts for the 23 and C3. Photo credit to Reece Lerica

Its been sitting there doing nothing since September that DLE, finally it is being used on the 72. They should really just use some E200s to cover for BEs because there is need of DLE MMCs elsewhere in the company yet 2 are wasted sitting idle inside S for months on end alternatively, type train the 72 drivers because its ridiculous to have just over 2 year old buses hardly doing anything.

Oh yes that's the one that does nothing. I very much agree it's not great that a bus that a bus that is two years old is sitting around in a garage for months. No doubt it will last a few days on the 72 before not being used for about 4 months.

Surely if there is a shortage of BEs at S, routes 70/C1 could either loan a DLE from nearby RP or V, or simply use a DE from the 72's allocation? Another option could be to transfer the 4 OCEs to S as additional spares (The H98 could take 4 spare SPs to replace them).

Seems odd that it has been used, as only one bus VOR (BE37013) 32 have been used today, and other 3 used yesterday per LVF

Highly unlikely the BEs would be able to turn into Hammersmith Bridge road and also many 72 drivers won't be type trained.

It is primarily there to cover the BE on VOR, busdryer had said in the RATP forum that the 2 DLEs were suppose to move back to S due to a VOR BE. Most 72 drivers aren’t type trained for the DLEs according to some drivers obviously to be taken with a pinch of salt as well and by looking at the LVF history, nothing appears to be out long term.
