T7 AD > TH - I recon they’ll use T1-11 plus a few of T27-41 so that the 198 will have Euro 6 complaint buses on it as it’s contract goes into London wide ULEZ. Maybe, but could just be that extra Ts will go to The Trim when ENS25 returns and is there for refurb cover ... ?

which DMLs? Which buses from Metroline Some of the ex 95 11 regs were bought by TT and refurbished after Metroline returned them off lease. DE1902/1908 are amongst some of the ones sold there.

T4 AD > TH - Currently on route 250, this is Euro 6 so is allowed. I think the 102s Ts will replace the 198s Ts as the 198 does not go into its new contract until after October 2020, so will need E6 buses. T1/T8 looks like it is in transit to TH too.

Very interesting moves. Nice to see the early Ts being transferred to TH.

I highly doubt the 198’s T’s are getting replaced early. Surely these T’s will release T68 and T69 back to DX where they’re needed to replace the last VLA’s. If the 60 and 412’s buses are about to be refurbished once the 250’s batch are complete then the 102’s T’s will be required at TC too I would think. It’ll be great to see the lower numbered T’s around Croydon though

It would just be better for the 198 to continue using T12-26 untill it's contract is up, but it will certainly need new buses whether retained or not on it's next tender.

I thought the 173 Ts would replace those on the 198 ... how many are lined up for the training fleet.

which DMLs? Which buses from Metroline I believe the following have been acquired by Tower Transit for the 218 (DE1899-1906): YX11AEW YX11AEY YX11AEZ YX11AFA YX11AFE YX11AFF YX11AFJ YX11CNK VWH1414 says DE1908 has also been acquired so possibly DE1907 is also with them as well.

I've seem pictures of the following at the H&D trim: DML44183 YX11AEY (ex DE1900) DML44185 YX11AFA (ex DE1902) DML44187 YX11AFF (ex DE1904) DML44188 YX11CNO (ex DE1908) So it looks like DE1898-1904/1908 are definitely going (As DML44181-44188), but it looks like DE1906/1907 haven't gone to TT - although they may have gone to CT Plus with DE1909 (Was on the W19 today) for the PVR increase on the W19.

It’ll be great to see the lower numbered T’s around Croydon though The 198s buses cannot do until the end of the tender without being upgraded. With the 102 ceasing T operation, there are bound to be surplus Ts for withdrawal so it makes sense to replace any 08 reg Ts that are not E6 with as many already Euro 6. I should imagine the 173s Ts will also fit into the picture somehow as they’re Euro 6. I imagine T1-11 will be used to replace 08 reg that aren’t Euro 6 and the Ts from the 173 used to withdraw 08 reg buses that aren’t upgraded with many a few more upgraded. If they are going have to the buses surplus why bother upgrading more when they can switch the same age buses and still get the desired result. The Ts on the 466 apart from those from the 102 currently cannot be used past October 2020 without an upgrade, Ts on the 198 except from those transferred cannot be used past October 2020. Route 198s contract ends after this date so will need Euro 6 buses to end its contract which can be obtained through the 102/173. The 466 contract expires before the Ts need to be upgraded however if they intend to put the Ts contractually on the 264 in a swap with the newer DWs then the 264 will require Euro 6 Ts to complete is extension.
