Looked on LVF and noticed that LT11 was shown as on the 390 for around four hours yesterday afternoon. A Flickr search then found a photo by jenkinsbuses showing the bus sitting empty in Oxford Street yesterday: flickr.com/photos/153467089@N08/52459737201/As can be seen it looks to have been refurbished as part of its conversion, with no obvious external changes from this angle at least - other than it's now carrying an electric logo rather than a hybrid one.

Could it be in the process of being converted to electric like with LT11?

There's an LT which has now got cameras instead of mirrors, but I have forgotten the fleet number

The other question is whether LT11 is being used more to trial the technology (as with the Magtec PDL and the Vantage hybrids) or if further conversions of LTs are seen as possible should it prove reliable. LOTS online has quoted that it's a "test-bed for a project to convert LTs to electric."

Is it the one that has been in Norfolk at Equipmake They are renewing the electric parts on the 2014 York park and ride fleet (from memory Versa). So presumably idea is to rip out an obsolete system specified 9 or 10 years ago (things have moved on), and replace it with something that can extend the life of the vehicle Almost certain that would be looking to get at least another decade life out of the vehicle (otherwise would not justify cost of the new parts). Probably best to think of it like new engines for the retained original Routemasters (I know it is not strictly an engine, but hopefully idea of replacing the out of date parts makes sense).

As well as being refurbished, DW322 has also been retrofitted with ISA

I never realised the 202 batch was only switched on recently, had assumed they were on from when they first entered service.

Not a modification as such but I’ve noticed that Metroline, RATP and Abellio buses in west London have started having little diamond stickers applied on all four sides of their double decker buses. A grey diamond logo for diesel buses and an orange/yellow diamond sticker for hybrids.
I assume this is a TfL wide initiative to easily distinguish bus fuel types and there’ll soon be different coloured stickers for electrics and the gas buses.

I think this is mainly for the emergency services rather than them distinguishing different fuel types BX buses seem to have been sporting them as well. Seen on the 132 and 51 allocations yesterday & today.
