I've seen many an Arriva driver do it off the 370 though in South Street by KFC ;D There is a cafe along Norwood High Street where many bus drivers stop while in service, even drivers who terminate at N (which is the next stop on, around the corner) do it.

I can only think of a couple of plausible reasons;
* the driver was really bursting for the loo. ;D
* he/she left their cash tray in the shops.
I've heard on many occasions (via code red broadcasts) where cash trays were left behind in phone booths.

Quick trip to the paper shop or tea stop. Yeah, but this bus had its engine turned off, no hazard lights on and even if the cafe or wherever this driver had gone to was on South Norwood High Street, wouldn't it make sense to leave the bus at the Norwood Junction bus stand, which is just seconds away from where he left the bus? In that way it would be more safer, and the shops are just a seconds walk from Belgrave Road!

Its the wheels to run along the side of the kerbs, when the bus is on a guided busway.

Mechanical or operational? Operational. Don't go looking for it, it is not getting a Band 3 radio, so is awaiting the iBus programme to move to C. Until it has been fitted with iBus it will not be entering service.

Didn't say I was looking for it, I said operational because I had assumed you guys already knew Croydon have not yet started it's iBus fitment. So obviously it will not be on the road until then.

What C route will 957 be allocated to? 957 was ordered for route 293 school journeys but will also be used normally on routes 119 and 405. Can't wait for the Scania/Olympus DD for routes 54/75, 958–87?

What are the MAN/MCV's fleet Numbers, or has it been confirmed yet? As far as I know, the MAN/MCVs for route 202 should start from 709 onwards.

Its the wheels to run along the side of the kerbs, when the bus is on a guided busway. Thanks very much , I remember when I saw one of them on rail replacement at Clapton Station last year and wondered what the hell that was for.
