Now I know you look on here so I just wanted to say a big well done. 1) Sorted the problems going around Thamesmead, iBus now works perfectly in both directions. 2) Re-named stops that were obviously wrong or out of date and taken on board comments made on here. Keep up the good work now just sort the problem of not being able to curtail on the buses last trip...well it can't be all positive can it, got to give something to do

Must say I've been impressed at TfL's speedy response in fixing faults that have been reported and even re-recording announcements that locals feel have been pronounced incorrectly etc. Good work!

I have to admit that in general, the response from TfL by comments made on here regarding anything is fantastic. I know generally we have Beaver to thank for that, but it just goes to show that we're making an impact on travel in London.
Keep it up guys!!! ;D ;D ;D

All the more reason to ensure that any INFORMATION given is accurate and FACTUAL, and any OPINIONS are reasoned and not fantasised. I recently made an FOI request to TfL for information on the use of Freedom Passes on London Buses. The response I got was timely, totally informative and well presented. I will be posting a thread in connection with it in the near future.

As most of you will be aware, I am yet to be impressed by iBus. I am not sure if this is totally relative, or indeed if it comes within the scope of iBus, but here goes. On Cranbrook Road, Ilford, towards Ilford Station, there are two bus stops sited between Coventry Road and Park Avenue (where route 364 emerges towards Ilford). The two stops segregate the MANY routes which serve this part of Cranbrook Road. The one nearest Ilford Station is marked 'Coventry Road', whilst the other is marked 'The Cranbrook'. This WAS a public house, now closed and being redeveloped into offices or some other premises, but cetainly it is a pub no more! Regardless of that, it seems a little pointless that two stops only twenty yards apart should show TWO different locations, and when iBus comes fully to this area, will this (now) out of date and incorrect information be part of the script on the announcements? I believe that the 123 and 179 which use this road are currently equipped, but I do not use either myself past this point.

Bighat, i'm pretty certain they will. Especially as TfL couldn't get the name of a hospital right!!! (Queen's in Romford if anyone is bothered lol). However, iBus and stop names can only be correct if local people comment on local stops. It's what i plan to pick up on when NS get iBus in a couple of months

Thanks John and all. I can't take all the credit I have merely passed on comments as indeed others have who read/or post on here. There have been alot of people within TfL that behind the scences have acted on your comments. Thanks to you all for continuing to keep us informed and where things can be corrected and improved really its this forum that we have alot to be grateful for really. Thats why I read it rather than some of the other forums that come nowhere near this one for interest. Keep the comments coming.
