I saw a rail replacement bus at Swiss cottage earlier was a WVL. It was in service just wondering what route this was on as the London Overground and thameslink where both fine in that area. A VWH overtook me at Kentish Town West at 2307 running on the St Pancras to West Hampstead to rail replacement service. Even when the line is open, Kentish Town station is not served due to engineering works so this service runs. If the buses do Kentish Town to West Hampstead via Prince of Wales Road, Swiss Cottage, Belsize Road and Abbey Road, how do they get from St Pancras to Kentish Town, considering they'd have to arrive at Kentish Town from the north?

I did indeed and was glad nobody came out for it as the C10 batch is pretty unexciting.

Kentish Town is served by means of a double-run up Kentish Town Road, using Fortess Walk to turn.
The one time that I used the service it followed a one-way loop at West Hampstead, arriving from the south (presumably Belsize Road, although the C11 route is also an option), serving the stop outside the station, then departing via West End Green, West End Lane (northeastern arm) and Finchley Road back to Swiss Cottage.

Does anyone know what will be on the London Bridge to Tulse Hill Rail Replacement this weekend? It's usually an assortment of Go-Ahead buses from various garages. It's an odd service in the sense that it doesn't always run when that line is shut and people have to find other ways to get around.

Thanks for that, makes sense. Metroline appeared to be doing a good job on it. Hopefully they will be used again so the next time I have to use it, I won't be left waiting for a bus that isn't coming!

Is this service advertised? It is in journey planners - you'd only happen across it if you're travelling on Thameslink and need to go to or from Kentish Town.

Does anyone know what will be on the London Bridge to Tulse Hill Rail Replacement this weekend? I'm out on Clapham Junction to Canada Water- only seen buses from local garages and one of the commercial low numbered Es with white LEDs on that service. I've had dozens of people at Peckham Rye asking if I'm on the Southern service. I also had people frantically and angrily waving me down and shouting out abuse at South Bermondsey and more worryingly outside East Dulwich station. The rail replacement bus stops for ED are not near the station, but some distance away on East Dulwich Road. Every time people wait outside the station and leave messages on Southern's Twitter complaining no buses have shown up - and it'll be compounded by the likes of me whizzing past without stopping. More work to be done on advertising the location of the bus stops to the public - or run East Dulwich to North Dulwich via Denmark Hill - it's not actually that much longer than the direct route currently used as it's usually traffic free.

Thanks for the response, also, would you know where the stop for SN Rail Replacement is at Peckham Rye and how close/far it is from the LO-M stop? Planning to use both services later in the day.
