I’d say no because even before TfL’s issues started, people would be often confused so to introduce things that would be 10 times confusing make little sense. So I wonder what changed then, unless people were still confused with the peak extensions and service prefix/suffixes It's just another fallacy quite honestly, peak hour extensions and suffixes work perfectly well everywhere else. People are just as likely to be confused by things like the 68,168 and 468 all serving Elephant & Castle!

Interesting to see two seats behind the driver and unlike the Enviro 400 with a window. Shame about the lack of a glazed stairwell

Metroline's new electric E400s are now in the LVF system so soon enough the VMH's will go to the right routes so, VMH2532-45 will stay at PB until the 134 electrics arrive then hopefully moved to the 90. And VMH2577-86 will move to the 607 as the 43 is receiving there electric buses from this/next month. Can someone confirm this please?

Is it me or does the bus look really odd around the staircase, with the T-shape advert board frames covering it/the blacked out windows along the staircase?

Even if they didn't want to feature the glass staircase, I personally think the black surrounds around the staircase area should've been painted red, to match the rest of the body. I can imagine it won't look so bad once adverts are covering it... but still.

The whole look of the BDE I just don't like it. Overall I do (I am a big fan of the E400 City bodywork generally and find it very stylish), although I think on the Metroline BDEs, having the stairwell unglazed and black to accommodate advertising is a retrograde step. Living in Bethnal Green I see E400 Citys every day on the 26 and 388, but it is not a common type of bodywork in London and I wonder if for some enthusiasts who don't see it regularly, it looks unfamiliar and somehow odd (that's not a criticism BTW).

Do CT Plus's Cities also creak ( vjaska do you get what I mean?) like crazy?

It's a shame that the stylish bodywork has been spoilt somewhat by London blandness, how about highlighting the fact that it's an all electric bus and dare I suggest some route branding if they're going to stay on the 43? Panelling over the staircase is disgraceful, have any other operators desecrated buses in this way?

Me and rhys live in Brixton and see Arriva's HA's regularly so it's not that reason - it's just odd regarding the decision about the staircase to not glaze it when all other examples for London and elsewhere have had glass fitted as I'd presumed it was as standard.
