1366 has been on a diet recently, where as 1370 has already started eating for Christmas... 1370 better control herself, otherwise she’ll have the problem of winter fat to deal with A few runs up and down Muswell Hill on the W7 will burn off that tummy

Does anyone know what happens to buses on 266 when that is lost in a fortnight I know there are changes to 140 (to X140 etc), but which route gains them
Also it seems the SEL are being rapidly phased out, just 13 are still active (only 7 in use currently) on 297 which is now partly 2011 VW

I'm starting to wonder if the 140 branded VWHs have now been de-branded and re-blinding has also started in preparation for the X140. This is after VWH2192 (One of the buses that was branded for the 140) made it onto the 182 yesterday and VWH2191 (Another that was branded) has made it onto the 186 today - VWH2191 also never originally had blinds for the 186, and VWH2212 another bus that has never been on the 186 is on the route today - makes me think that re-blinding for the X140 has started if these now have blinds that contain the 186. As for the branded buses, considering they were strictly allocated to the 140 until the last 2 days and now 2 non 140 appearances have occurred makes me think de-branding has started - which would make sense considering the 140 will no longer be doing the same routing anymore.

There was a 3rd one this week as VWH2191 was on 182 on Monday

VWH2188 and VWH2193 (Edit: wrong bus, although I'm sure there were two) have lost most of the stickers (still have the big via points on nearside, as does PA's VW1175). VWH2191 and VWH2193 still have the stickers but also have new(er?) blinds (displaying Heathrow Central on 140, therefore 186 included)

A decker working for the 95 please!

I can imagine the 2 TEHs will go to EW tbh, either to form part of the 240 allocation or join the spares pool and replace 2 older TEs in that role.

The split mirrors that appeared at Arriva and Stagecoach have started being fitted to some Metroline buses now, e.g. VWH2273 at PA A reflection of changing times on London buses. Sorry, that's a Tony Blackburn joke.

Are the BYD double decks withdrawn from route 98 still with Metroline, or have they now moved to a new location? Please excuse me if I've overlooked this in an earlier post. I noticed one of them inside AC this afternoon. As an aside, I saw a few indigenous VWs on route 260 - 1287, 1288, 1290 & 1296 I think - and even ex-First 1819 on route 302.

Now the 34’s gone I’m very surprised the 125 is till using so many TEs. Would have thought that wouldn’t happen anymore due to the huge surplus of 64-reg VWHs come free. They seem to be getting used on the 263 instead. I’m really intrigued to see what’s next for them. I imagine the 64reg VWHs will stay at PB, and Metroline will likely withdrawn some further older TEs soon. The question is whether any VMHs stay at PB. The 34's VWHs could be a good fit for the 317 + the 125's extension, but it has been suggested that the VWHs might be for the 231. Given that VMHs only reached PB as an interm measure for route 134, I see little point in them staying on once route 134 has all its OMEs. In fact, the loss of route 34 could have ousted the VMHs now.
