They're to be used whilst buses go away for emissions mods - all have returned to BX except E39 AFAIK Which batches are not Euro 6 currently? I had thought the 486s WVLs were already E6. No idea otherwise I'd mention it.

Has the 88 conversion started to begin because EH293 is currently on that route.

On that subject it sadly looks like LDP194’s time is up as well. Not been used for over a week, if it really is gone its crown of oldest bus in service must be passed on and it marks the end of 51-reg buses left in London service.

Sorry not been keeping up - Is there enough LTs for the 87 tomorrow and is the 176 still getting a part allocation of LTs?

Plenty of LTs as the 88s PVR is higher. It's more a question of if enough conventional buses for the 88. I guess tomorrow they could raid the spares from the 77, 118 and 155 due to lower PVRs.
Either way this change has required Go Ahead to require about 6 or 7 extra buses for the 88 which if LTs then TFL will need to provide. To save a part allocation on the 176 it would have made sense for the 171 to cut back tomorrow to free up EHs for the 88.

I get your all for the cuts but you don't cut back a route just so you can free up buses at will

I think off all the cuts the 171 is probably the less damaging with the 1, 68 and 168 still running between Holborn and Elephant plus the 176 from Aldwych to Elephant.
