E152 and E207 are currently at Hants and Dorsets for a refurb Interesting I think E207 may have be pulled onto the 104s contract along with E135 as E135 was refurbished and reblinded a while back and E207 was reblinded a while back and is now having a refurb. The WVNs are only really used on school contracts now and the WVLs that were transferred spend their time on Route 5.

Was in Ilford today and spotted the 396 for the first time under GAL and must say those early E400s don't give the best impression for a recently taken over service. Personally would much rather see it using the refurbished E200s.

Do the 270 and 280 have scheduled SD workings? WSD21 is on the 270 now with WSD13 on the 280. Seems odd that whilst there are DDs on the 200 there are SDs on the 270 and 280

Enthusiast’s paradise - I can’t complain! On an unrelated note, got some collosal kickdown (into first gear maybe) out of WS106 from Shooters Hill to Eltham - never had before on a Streetlite... is this a rarity?

What if they have a hybrid shortage and have no choice but to put a euro 6 diesel? They have a choice, its either an NSB or a 12.50 fine The fine is £100 for a bus if it enters service within the ULEZ zone.

I imagine TfL have a database similar to LVF showing operation of buses officially allocated to TfL contracts, plus spares. I also imagine like the LVF site that route history can be checked upon to see if any non-compliant buses has/had entered the zone.

Given our site traffic on some days I think that is exactly what they do to check!

As soon as I heard information of the 135 having two EH transfers for the ULEZ, making its TVR 17 for a PVR of 16, I was extremely concerned when SI would only have a spare hybrid in the entire garage. Indeed I've noticed after the zone went live of RR assistance with a bus from EH131-161, but on April 17th in the afternoon peak; SI had EHV7 on the D7 and two EHs from RR on the 135!! Essentially what I want to ask is this: are there duties permanently allocated at RR for the 135 or are these 'emergency workings' that juat seem to happen almost daily? Cause ultimately it feels like a case of rob from the rich (route 5) to give to poor ol' 135 .

I could be wrong but think these are daily / weekly / as and when needed transfers to SI much like when the 474 WVLs used to move back and forwarded between SI and RR.
SI also has two early E400 EHs transferred from MB. EH14 and EH15.
