Hhhmmm wonder how they distinguish between a TfL PCV and non TfL PCV? I imagine TfL have a database similar to LVF showing operation of buses officially allocated to TfL contracts, plus spares. I also imagine like the LVF site that route history can be checked upon to see if any non-compliant buses has/had entered the zone. Yeàh but not trying to drive them through the ULEZ not on TfL work Yeah can be manually checked ... but is that the best use of resources?

Are the not enough LTs around to make the 87 fully LT? Apart from Sunday's the route has never been 100% fully LT.

Southdown Enthusiasts Club have reported that two Presidents have gone to Brighton and Hove on loan for rail replacement work. Does anyone know their identities?

I believe its a pair of 02 reg PVL's previously used in the commercial fleet The B&H site lists PN02XBL and PN02XBM in the fleet; both are pictured in all-white with "Rail Replacement" on the LEDs. However they've been there since November 2018 and have been given names so I'm not sure if they would still be described as loans. Perhaps there are another two on loan?

As well as ex PVL263/4, there's also PL51LDK/N (exPVL251/2); all four are listed as in the combined Metrobus/B&H driving school as trainers (7951-4).

WSDs are double decker buses.... Sorry, my bad. I got confused with WSs. Following on from this, does anyone know why so many WHVs stray into other routes, when they are all supposed to be allocated to the 280 (apart from WHV104, which is for the 270)?

AL tend to mix allocations. Its common to see multiple types of vehicle on a route at once. The same sort of thing has been seen at Q for many years now too

Unfortunately, at other garages, allocations need to be more restricted due to things like emissions zones

Are the not enough LTs around to make the 87 fully LT? Apart from Sunday's the route has never been 100% fully LT. EH's again on the 87 today, if SW are short of LTs why were some moved to Q for a part conversion of the 176? Wouldn't it be better for the 87 to be all LT and the 176 all other types?

Agreed - Route 176 looks very messy in terms of allocations. Sometimes it will see 1/2 LTs only as well.
