Was on the 439 today and when the bus left Whyteleafe station the iBus displayed showed “insert number mins until Waddon Station” Bearing in mind the bus passes Kenley Station and Purley Station before Waddon, what use is that? The selection of points programmed to be shown on the iBus is awful on most routes, its usually just a random selection of train/tube stations and not the major points along the route. The only solution is for TfL to go through each route individually and choose the "important" intermediate stops to display time estimates for on the iBus.

Yea when I was on the S2 in Sutton it was like 26 minutes to Ewell East when we still hadn't reached Sutton or Cheam stations themselves

And I'm sure the vast majority of people using the 439 would be looking to go to places like Purley High Street or The Colonnades rather than Waddon Station from Whyteleafe!

They don't seem to even include all stations along the route either - my 439 on Saturday didn't display any estimated time for Waddon Station but did for every other station from Purley to Whyteleafe South and for the main stop in Whyteleafe, only displayed estimated time for Whyteleafe Station despite the actual bus stop being called Whyteleafe and Upper Warlingham Stations, particularly when I imagine almost no one is getting off a southbound bus towards Waspes Lodge to board a train from Whyteleafe

I assume the 99, 269 & 401 would all operate from BX?

I assume the 99, 269 & 401 would all operate from BX? I think that's a fair assumption, though Bromley terminating services e.g. 126, 227 have and do run from MB, whist Woolwich terminating services have and do run from MG (e.g., 386)

I assume the 99, 269 & 401 would all operate from BX? 401 I can’t see operating from anywhere else other than BX, and it’s difficult really to imagine the 99 or 269 being based anywhere else either.

And just after I posted this, southlondon413 posted a company notice on the tender thread confirming that indeed all these routes will operate from Bexleyheath.

I'm sure the WS on the 355 used to have stop/start but riding on them recently none of them did that. Has that feature been disabled on them?
