Stagecoach have sold Preston Bus to Rotala. (But are posssibly keeping route 11) The sale was as a result of Competition Commission enquiry Preston has an odd fleet, about 11 Scania deckers, 18 Dennis Tridents, 31 Solos, 13 Olympians and a Lynx. (Must be some others as press release says 85 buses) Per Press release Rotala are considering issuing more shares (if agreed by AGM in May) to invest in the fleet www.rotalaplc.co.uk/ContentHandler.ashx?id=939

Those Esteems are built on a Scania Chassis whereas the Go Ahead SOEs are built on a Dennis Chassis. That's the only big difference.

Metrobus (Go-Ahead) have some of them and are 10.6m versions. Metrobus ones are slightly different as they are known as Omnitowns although you are right as in that they are still Esteems. The Preston ones are only known as Esteems. Jamaal, the SOE's are on an ADL chassis though I understand where you got Dennis from
