I don’t know if this has gone under the radar or not but SP40051 appears to be the last RATP Scania standing If true then the better bus won the title of the last standing SP. I guess it all comes down to whether SP40206 is at Twickenham? If so, then its definitely being withdrawn. If not, it could be undergoing maintenance or having another MOT test.

youtu.be/QXInjaWfEK4?si=wKhP22U8T3OB4D_rVintage footage from 2000. I can't believe I forgot some MCW Metrobuses had the stopping sign like that (go to 7:58 to see what I'm talking about). I remembered some having the grey brackets stopping signs and some of the black brackets saying "bus stopping"

It is at NC but not withdrawn just yet. NC is not only the bus graveyard but the refurb department. It would appear the SP206 has an issue with its floor. Might be retired if the job is deemed to big to be worth it.

Ever since their was HS2 works at Greenford Station the odd 105 will sometime run dead from their temporary stand at Westway Cross to Greenford Station via Greenford Road, Berkley Avenue and Oldfield Lane North. It would be so great if these dead runs was in service.

Had a ride on one of the refurbished 116 VHs today for the first time. Very nice refurb both internally and externally. Noticed it has the older style RATP GROUP logo at the front of the bus. Also nice to see it retain the Wrightbus logo at the front too. The handrails inside were a completely smooth finish which was a first for me. Don't like RATP very much but can't deny that their refurbishments are very good.

Once the 72 finally gets its 16 reg DLEs back from refurb, will it be the first time in 3, maybe 4 years that all RATP routes have its intended allocated vehicles?

The 116 is only the 15 reg.

Looks like the 65 may have had a PVR increase on Saturday. According to the new MTSc schedule the running numbers now go from 51 to 80. Before it was 51 to 78. Around 10 extra duties on the route too along with evening running time increases.

I still think it's shame the E1 extension isn't going ahead sooner to take a Little heat off the 65. Not that it would take much off as as we know it remains busy throughout.

There really needs to be a curtailment point just after South Ealing station. I don’t know if this is feasible though. This would mean that more of the northern section of the route is served when buses need to be curtailed.

This morning on the 340 whilst doing the right turn from Harrow and Wealdstone Station on the bridge, I thought it would be interesting to see a BCE go around here because of the long wheelbase and that turn is quite tight. 2 hours later on my break and the run out guy says there is a BCe going out on the 340.

Probably due to capacity reasons the DDEs are going to the 395 and 326 keeping DEs and DMEs allocation. The DDEs originally came for the take up of the 226 then it was deemed they would stay for the 326 allocation which I thought was ridiculous because they are too small. So now the plan is the 326 keeps DE & DME and the DDEs go to the 395. Yes, I saw DDEs on route 395 alongside BMEs (the latter I reckon being Sunday/Bank Holiday spares) and DMEs on route 326 yesterday. I cannot place what route the DDEs were built for in the first place. I should check your fleetlist Vjaska as you kindly add original reason for vehicles being built.
