I'm thinking that the 224/440 changes will not happen until the new apartments in the Wembley area are complete meaning that the 440 won't be able to extend to Wembley until the apartments are completed These changes would also need to wait until the Crossrail changes, as the 440's rerouteing in West Acton is linked to the 218 introduction.

Sorry no idea on this one, if I remember tomorrow will try and peer in, as driving past Sandown in the morning Fab, thanks. I was going to pop down from Kingston on the 458 Friday evening to have a look. Where abouts is the storage plot? It is a compound behind Cafe Rouge, on (Esher) Station Road

BE37015 involved in quite a big crash, shattering the screen and a lot of damage to the drivers side and bumper

Driver rumour and a bit of research suggests that the E10’s SDEs may go to the 463. I have been speaking to multiple drivers from EB over the past few weeks, and they’ve told me that the WS are being withdrawn because ‘they don’t want something that falls apart on the road.’ Which lead me think - what might replace them? There are 13 ex-Arriva London SDEs currently at London United (one is allocated to the S3, the others are allocated to the E10. The 463 has a TVR of 11 (correct me if I am wrong), and therefore meaning it would be easier if the WS are going to put the E10 SDEs on the 463, and have new SDEs on the K5, which is a first for the whole Route, as I don’t believe it has ever had a full allocation of new buses. There are only 11 ex-Arriva SDEs (9x 14-reg and 2x 12-reg). Re: K5, Quality Line bought new Solos for the route in 2011 (OS20252-4 in today's money - the route had a PVR of 3 then, and didn't need its own spare, so that was the full allocation). Going back a bit more, Mitcham Belle also took a full complement of new Solos when they won the route in 2001.
Transdev brought two DPK class MPD's in 2006 for the route though I'd imagine an older MPD was used as a spare as it had a PVR of 3 I believe?

There are new SDEs due for the K5, in storage at the Sandown Park storage. If I am correct, this means the E10 SDEs will go to the 463, and then the OS and WS will be withdrawn. The driver stated that the buses are due to go into service at the same time as the SP go into service on the 406/418. This is simply not true - no more new buses due except for the final two Vhs for the 65 (681). Thank you for debunking that rumour

Even the VHs are a mystery in that the 8 for 406 have arrived many weeks early, but the pair for 681 are still to be seen. Plenty of unconfirmed rumours that second batch has been increased in quantity. There is another rumour I had heard, but assumed it was garbage so never repeated it before, was the 6 contractual buses for the 395 will be amended to 6 (shorter) buses for K5. If there is any truth in it, can only guess that means H13 fleet will be used for 395 instead It is going to have to be a wait and see on these. There are so many unknowns (the Richmond area changes haven’t happened in May which should have released about 7 single decks), no idea if still happening (but if not what replaces Versa on 465, and SPs on 203). Of course unexpected Hammersmith Bridge closure messed up everything (at least one route needs something bigger than 55 capacity buses). Never heard anything definitive on 94 and 266 fleets. Still suggestions 319 gets split and new 306 part gets double decks (but from where?). No one seems to know where 81 fleet is moving to either (although multiple routes are suggested).

The starting point is whether the 94 is actually getting electrics. I’ve heard it is and it is for the current pvr as for now the route will remain intact. If these arrive in time the existing hybrids will probably go onto the 266.
As for the 81 I would find it hard to understand why the ADE’s can’t go onto Epsom routes rather than SP’s ?

The MCL's at Epsom are by far the nicest single deck buses in London. Real shame no more were ordered. Currently on board immaculate MCL30087.

But if the 72, as part of the evolving Hammersmith chaos, then went double-deck,would it not have to receive those VHs ordered for it, or would an industry style fudge (as is normal of late)?
