A DRIVER has died this morning and a car passenger is trapped with life threatening injuries after their car collided with a bus.
All emergency services are at the scene on Lodge Road with its junction with Cedar Road following the crash at 7.51am.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area where police have closed Lodge Road, The Avenue, Cedar Road, Bevois Hill and Avenue Road to allow access to emergency crews.
Ten passengers and the driver escaped uninjured from the Solent Blue Line bus.
