Stagecoach released today that it intents to run a sleeper coach between London and Glasgow from September using its Megabus subsidy. Each coach will have sleeping births, free wi-fi, toilets and on-board refreshments. Three bendy coaches have been specially adapted for this purpose (i guess they are the Plaxton Premiers that Stagecoach used to use on Megabus services before the Astromegas came last year). Some more information is here on the Stagecoach Group site: www.stagecoachgroup.com/scg/media/press/pr2011/2011-08-02/

I travel between London and Glasgow occasionally so may even try it myself. Fares from £1 to £40 beats the hell out of ScotRail's Caledonian Sleeper at around £140 one way
