a few of the ELVs are now herts buses. Also 626 needs 4 buses E46 & E47 are not mentioned above, so could be added to the 626. (Perhaps the '&' was a typo for '-' ?) The 217 has the MMC Es, and E49-51 will form the 603 allocation. This now uses up all of Sullivan's newer DDs. Sorry that was a typo. But are any of ELV5 - ELV10 needed in London as ELV6 is still in service and TPL926 is.

Could they at least replace the one that keeps Sullivans not short. There are some losses in Stagecoach which could lure an extra Scania to Sullivan’s to replace it. Or if it’s an extra one to make it up to 3 old buses, a stagecoach Scania could find its way in as well.

All of ELV 5 - ELV10 and TPL926 are really old and I can’t imagine them seeing service for that long.

All the Scanias left at Stagecoach are Euro4, which a rumoured (maybe fabled) to not be upgradeable to Euro6 ... what good would that be to Sullivans?

There is an interesting side to this debate, assuming euroIV Scanias can't be upgraded, and most Operators are holding onto euroV buses, there is a fair chance that suitable buses will only come available periodically. So becomes a question of buying up replacements when available, or taking a punt might be nothing suitable. Metroline might dispose of some early E400s, but unlikely until all TA, VP, SEL etcgone first. Tower Transit don't have many routes expiring and other Operators have unusual types to lose first. Even Abellio seem to be grabbing back buses.

Even Abellio seem to be grabbing back buses. Regarding Metroline: The TAs at W are surplus and not really needed, these will probably go once all TEHs are transferred from EW for the 266. VPLs at HT are due to be replaced by new VMHs (until BYD Cities are in service). The last few VPs at HD may be awaiting a few more VW transfers. The remaining VPs at AC will eventually be replaced by the surplus VWHs at PA, this will probably happen when the 90 receieves its VMHs. The 90's new VMHs will replace some of the SELs. The 297's SELs will probably be replaced by VWs released from the 79, 207 and PVR cuts (not all will be needed for the 204). The 55reg at HT should be replaced by surplus VWHs already at HT, if or when the 271's Highgate stand is resolved. The older TEs in the fleet could be kept as an interim measure, but once the above is in place, all TEs 55/06/56/07/57reg will no longer be needed.

According to Mr Sullivan, they were brought because the commercial school work needs some extra capacity but I think he said the two TPL's will be used for that with these E's probably being for the TfL side as spares or something.

Had a feeling they'd be used for TfL work to oust older vehicles, nice to see that TPL926/927 will be be given new work and staying with them though. That means 15/25 of the ex TT DNs have found new homes within TfL which is pretty rare these days for London Buses to be sold and end up back in London, let alone that many of 1 batch

Not too fond of Sullivan Buses, seem to always arrive quiet late, disorganised buses basically a 'put whatever on it' allocation and the whole 'SUL' numberplate creates serious confusion if a bus has an issue it is not easy to identify a bus quickly.

Don’t see an issue with ‘put whatever on it’, adds a bit of diversity onto the routes there.
