I must say though I am pleased to see number of comments in support of the bus driver. How many of the drivers here have done the same? (snooze on the bus I mean!)

Seems to be the way people are nowadays. They will literally complain about anything.

I like the comment from dave in bristol...
I'm a bus driver and like most i work shift patterns which can range from a 4am start to a 1am finish. When you finish a journey you usually get 5 minutes layover to check the bus ( for items left on there and damage) then the rest of the time is for us to rest and compose yourself for the next journey. I've had a 5;30am start all week and after my first journey i would have a 20 minute rest which i would use to get 40 winks which really does help espeacialy as the week goes on and letting people on would mean i wouldn't be able to rest properly as a lot of the time they are either chatting on phones, listening to music or talking to you . It's not nice when your trying to have a 5 minute rest when you've got people either banging on the door or stood there stearing at you and as this person who took the pictures wasn't waiting for the bus what on earth was he taking them for...it doesn't make sence to me just someone trying to get someone else in trouble. Pointless story!!!!

This isn't news! They're obviously running out of things to report on .

I'm pleased that Anglian Buses were on his side. She wasn't exactly desperate for the bus as she walked off not long after looking in the window.
