That's crazy. I'm no fan of cyclists at the best of times but that is over the top - he deserves imprisonment!

One thing I disagree with is what the guy from Bristol Cycling Campaign said. He has basically painted cyclists as angels when in fact, it's them who usually cause the accidents. Just cross anywhere along Brixton Hill or Brixton Road and you will find out what I mean.

I certainly think they cyclist has a part to play in this, if you read the article it says he earlier propped his bike up against the front of the bus (a favourite trick of theirs), and at the begininning of the cctv it looks like the bike was antagonising the bus driver, going slowly directly in front of him.
Cyclists are normally quite clever, professional people in general - and they know exactly what to do to wind someone up with no chance of a comeback on them legally.
Unfortunatley this guy peeed off the wrong bus driver, and whilst what the driver did is never right, I dont believe the cyclist was an angel in this.

There but for the grace of god.............................. Ive felt like doing this loads of times.................. I actually done it ;D Obviously, not on purpose!!! I was doing the 155 one late evening, on kennington park road making my way towards the elephant. Went past the green lights and heard this smack on the door. I looked and saw a woman falling off her bike. I immediately stopped and people were fuming but when the police and ambulance came, they saw that the bike had no lights and when she was taken in the ambulance they found she had alcohol in her system. When the garage downloaded the cctv, they also found that she jumped the red lights so I was in the clear. I can laugh about it now but at the time I was upset about it

TBH, cyclists and pedestrians are a complete nightmare. They walk out in front of you on purpose and just don't care.

Just yesterday a cyclist went speeding through the lights near my house and he is so lucky the van driver had quick reactions otherwise he would have been toast!!! and the cyclist had the cheek to call the van driver a f***in wan***, when the van driver was totally in the right. It seems to be getting worse these days

They need to put some form of registered chip in cycles and sensors on lights ... if they go through then the get fined, i know it is not practical but why should cycles not be registered like cars and motorcycles.
The driver of bus was in wrong but the cyclist got what he deserved as far as i am concerned!!
