Judging by the prices they do seem to be a tad expensive, I on the other hand brought Panasonic headphones and the sound ain't that bad. Only a tenner from Argos plus £1 insurance for 3 years coverage..

I tell you what yea I got the dr dre urbeats in ears for my htc one s and because the phone has the beats audio software in it aswell, when you go to the eqaulizers you can change the sound of the headphones to which headset type you want to hear, the settings are * ibeats/urbeats (in ears that cost about £80, I got mine for 35) *Beats Solo (over heads that cost about £150) *Beats Pro (over heads that cost about £250) *Beats Studio (over heads that cost about £350 - 380) I have tried the beats studio in my phone on the beats studio setting, then tried my urbeats on the beats studio setting and i personally thing the urbeats sound much better because they actually go into ur ears. Also i prefer the in ears because you can just put them in your pocket when you dont want to listen to music or conceal them easier when it is raining. I mean beats studio headsets are nearly the price of the phone man, the one s retails for between £400 - 500 pound. Altogether I spent £465 (430+35) on my phone and headsets. the audio quality is just the best i have heard on any phone and it is even better than mp3 players including ipods imo, because its not just loudness. It is loud, clear and Bassy when needs to be and it balances your songs out right. So if you have a very bassy song you get alot of bass, if your songs are much calmer you get a calmer experience aswell. I do not recommend listenting to music for long periods of time on the highest volume especially on beats audio setting. I mostly use bass booster setting for that reason and it still is very loud and clear. I have to disagree there mate. Coming from a HTC Sensation onto the HTC One X (which has Beats Audio), I can tell you the Beats Audio thing is nothing more than just an over-hyped brand/equalizer which adds crazy amounts of bass to music. At times, music actually sounds better without the Beats Audio enabled as it can add too much bass and can make a song sound distorted. I find that the free 'Equalizer' app on the play store which can deliver superior sound since it is customizable. Beats headphones are notorious for delivering average sound at a high price, many cheaper headphones are a lot better than them. To me, the novelty to Beats (headphones and audio) is wearing out, especially since masses of fake Beat headphone hit the market and the Beats Audio can be easily ported (transferred) onto other cheaper android phones.

I know O2 are currently doing an offer in which you get 20% off any pair of the Beats headphones, but it is only valid for use in their stores only (I think you will need to be a pay monthly customer). But before you can redeem it, you will need to register for their Priority Moments service and have the app installed on your smartphone in order to take advantage of the offer. Not sure when it ends though.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinions I think iphones are over rated piles of crap but there is millions out there who agree and disagree. I along with many reviews and many HTC Sensation XE/XL, One S/V/X/XL, HTC Rezound and many more htc beats devices across the world will disagree with you as I always read many reviews and many peoples opinions all over the world on various phone forums and the majority love the beats audio and many that is the only reason they have a HTC beats phone. I agree about Beats solo and beats pro over head earphones being over rated and over priced, however the urbeats in ears that i use and the very expensive and over priced beats studio headphones are excellent quality. Also may I ask what free 'equalizer' app you are talking about please.

It is like the Nokia that was in the 90s everyone had it. Expect a fair few. However, the over rated phone I'd suggest and this is my opinion would be the Blackberry. It has sooo many flaws but the only good thing about the Blackberry is BBM nothing else apart from that. HTC I can't really comment on as I've hadn't seen nor touch the phone at my own expense but they do seem pretty decent.

Oh I see, good one. Chris I know you have and like I said everyone is entitled to their own opinions For me the fact that the iphone costs like 500 - 600 pound and it doesnt support proper file transfers via bluetooth or usb and you have to depend on itunes so much is flawed imo. Also after watching on you tube ios vs android the truth about apple and googles OS www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMiY1kSTHZw&feature=g-all-c , the person who does the videos shows why android is actually better and the reason he done the 5 part video is because apple fans are saying ios is simpler to use than android and it is not the case and what i just mentioned about is one factor of that that isnt true because if you have to depend on itunes for just about every type of file transfer imo that doesnt make it simpler. Also another thing is that most apps on ios you have to pay for them where as on android it is free not only that but if you have a ipad and a iphone if you purchase an app on the iphone and you want it on your ipad you have to buy it at like tripple the cost again on the ipad. Where as if you have a android phone and android tablet what ever you download on your phone you can have it on your tablet aswell for free.

I'm pretty sure thats what iCloud is there for, no need to buy it for the iPad if you've got iCloud installed, just buy it from the iPhone and it should appear on your iPad automatically.

Not stabbing at Volvo here but i'm pretty sure that most people wouldn't pay for a iPhone manually as a 16GB would cost you around £500 from the Apple Market hence why going on contract is way way more cheaper. By contract your saving £450+ Insurance. PAYG imo is a rip off. Also with iTunes, if you didn't knew about iCloud. iTunes automatically saves on what you have purchased in the past as back up so your clearly not loosing out unless you hadn't linked up your iPhone, iPad, etc. To your PC

I have both iPhone and iPad and so long as any app I download has a little "+" on it I can have it on both at no extra cost - I can even re download purchased apps for free. I guess at the end of the day it's what you get used to. I personally wouldn't change from iOS cos its what I'm used to now. Though in saying that, my wife's blackberry is fairly straight forward too.

@greeny your not correcting me on what I said about purchasing apps from iPhone to iPad etc and same goes for this cloudy issue it's what the guy in the video who has the latest OS on the latest iPad and latest android OS on one of the latest android phones is showing us on the video so he must be stupid then as he doesn't seem to know about clouds and this little + sign despite claiming he has a variety of apple products.
Oh and Chris people buy iPhones and other phones offline for 500 plus all the time, I used to work in a phone shop so I am certain they do it a lot of the time. They generally do it in the middle or near the end of their contracts or as a gift for someone else.

I also think having Beats Audio on your phone is quite cool, however, as I said before its very basic and the (free! ) app 'Equalizer' does a better job in my opinion. If you read proper in-depth reviews, you'll understand what I mean... EDIT: any idea why HTC have stopped bundling Beats earphones with most of their high end phones?
