Yes because it cuts cost of he whole package of the phone and not every uses the headsets anyway. So for example I paid 430 at carphone for my one s had it come with.beats headsets it would be about 470 - 480.
Thanks for the link I will check that out. The best aftermarket music player I have heard is power amp which is about £3 and it has customizable presets I don't use it on my one s though because it is deafening as the one s is very loud and I think beats audio is good enough However I will be using it on my galaxy s 3 (because it hasn't got beats audio)when the UK finally has stock of the thing pre ordered mine two weeks ago to be told sorry the blue version is going to be delayed but the white should be in this week so I may have to get white now as I am not waiting a further 2-3 weeks.

DJ Snoggle has a tradition of dipping in and out of his record (yes those black things that go round and round!) collection (and the IPod) at this time of year. Here are some of the tracks sampled - I'll update as I go. Be warned some of this stuff is OLD! Beatles - Help U2 - the Unforgettable Fire New Order - World in Motion New Order - True Faith Pet Shop Boys - Flourescent Pet Shop Boys - Inside a Dream John Barry - Beat Girl (Main Title) Beach Boys - Wouldn't it be nice? Madonna - Justify my love Ultravox - The Thin Wall Inner City - Good Life Roxy Music - Same old scene Simple Minds - Don't you forget about me. The Jacksons - Can you feel it? Dead or Alive - You spin me round (like a record) Loose Ends - Hanging on a string The Untouchables - Free yourself Human League - The Lebanon Kool and the Gang - Fresh Thomas Dolby - Europa and the Pirate Twins Tina Turner - Private Dancer Foreigner - Waiting for a girl like you Stranglers - Golden Brown Hall and Oates - I can't go for that (no can do) What is on your seasonal hit parade?

I've got True Faith, Don't You Forget About Me, You Spin Me Around (Like a Record), Waiting for a Girl Like You, Golden Brown & I Can't Go for That (No Can Do) on my iPod. Not the biggest fan of The Lebanon though the Hysteria album ain't bad. I've been meaning to download Can You Feel It for ages now lol. My own music collection is vast but the notable ones in there are Duran Duran (I've all their studio albums), Genesis (only from 1978-1992), Yes (the 1980's and early 90's), The Human League, Talk Talk, Tears for Fears, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson & Eminem.

Invisible Touch is my favourite Genesis album - 'Tonight, Tonight, Tonight' is the next track after Invisible Touch and along with 'Domino' (also on the album), are probably my favourite Genesis songs.

It's the Eurovision Song Contest tomorrow so, after I've been to TL, I will be going home and settling down to hear all the wonderful songs live from Copenhagen. Yay yay yay!
