Credit to Daniel Disbury (A controller at Ensign) for the photo www.essex-fire.gov.uk/pages/index.asp?area=5&id=46 - Incident No: 10772 Date: 09-06-2012 Time: 19:00 Details: Two double deckers destroyed by fire Address: Ensign Bus Company, Juliette Way, Purfleet Attendance: 2 x Grays, including aerial ladder platform, 2 x Orsett, 1 x Wennington (London Fire Brigade) Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in a bus depot. The incident involved two double decker buses parked inside. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two jets and one hose reel to fight flames. At 19:25 hrs, crews reported that both vehicles were 100 per cent well alight and the side of the depot building was being affected by heat. The aerial ladder platform was used as a cooling monitor, pouring water onto the scene from above as crews tackled flames on the ground. At 19:46 hrs, crews reported that the two buses were destroyed by fire as the incident was being brought under control. The fire was out by 20:55 hrs. We have no information at this stage relating to the cause of the incident.

Wow I hope no body was hurt. That looks to be one of there brand new hybrid buses
