Ah okay, that would make sense, the B5LH Hybrids have a good turning circle considering their length. Though looking at the stand on Street View, it's hard to see how they would be able to tweak the stand for the Ee's. Thanks for the information NotchA Rearranging the traffic lights to remove the two on Lower Green Gardens and the one in the middle of the central reservation would allow buses to swing out slightly further. Dropping the curbs would help and adjusting the stand so vehicles sit further back would probably resolve the issue. Dropping the kerb on the corner and relocating the stand further back seemed obvious to me but not sure that would be enough to allow the Ee's to make it around. Moving/removing traffic lights about sounds like a lot of (disruptive) work though.

It probably would, as @notcha said the Ee can use the space to turn back towards Sutton but they can’t stand properly. Reconfiguring the lights to new positions to open up the space on the central reservation would allow for the Ee to stand and pull off. It might be disruptive but if done overnight over a weekend it would be workable.

Just out of curiosity, what is wrong with the bus stand at Worcester Park, that prevents the E400EV's from the route? I am not familiar with that part of London at all! Also, I struggle to believe that Go Ahead went ahead with an order of buses, without testing them along the entire route (and stands). We are getting electric buses on the W8, I have been told that WDEs and BDEs have both been route tested and are both suitable. Hopefully some BDE's will be ordered in the end...will update as soon as I know. You will have to wait for others to reply, as just repeating what has been claimed on here. W8 already use mixed fleets hybrids and diesel seen it few times pass my work place be good to see more BDEs on Metroline

Rode a Volvo BZL MCV today by accident of sorts - not bad buses and build quality looks a big improvement on the Evoseti though still not on the level of Wrightbus or ADL. The VMSS was nippy, particularly on the main road stretches and it has an identical I-Bus UI to the ones on Electroliners. Seats were comfortable and the blinds look pretty good as well

They have two screens - one above the aisle near the driver (similar place to Enviro 200's) and one above the aisle by the rear door

Funnily enough and on a slightly different note, Sullivan Buses E44 that I boarded today has no I-Bus screen upstairs (there is one downstairs however) - this isn't the first time I've used a bus that had no I-Bus screen when it should of either.

KMB in Hong Kong has these but these are *in addition* to the 4 other screens facing backward on the lower deck (one at the front, one at the wheelchair bay between the two doors, one behind the staircase and one behind the centre door). Never seen the point to be honest.

Never seen the point to be honest. Checked the bus today. The one above the centre doors is to meet the new requirement for a screen to be visible to a wheelchair passenger. Also useful for standing passengers There is a full size rear facing panel above the wheelchair position.

Was thinking there was one, but for whatever reason it seems to be off a lot of the time which is probably why people don't know its there.
