Those numbers are slightly off, I've got these down as the garages with no current plans for electrification (not including outstations such as CP and GM): Abellio - none Arriva - BN (main shed), CT, DT, DX, EC, GY, N GAL - SI Metroline - G, HD, SG RATP - AV, RP, V, TV Stagecoach - KB RP is not going to be electrified so forget about that. I know, neither is SI but I was just listing the garages that aren't electrified or planned to be.

RP is not going to be electrified so forget about that. What stops it? Has it been confirmed anywhere that RATP need to be out by a specific date or whether the garage is unsuitable for electric operation? All I believe that's been mentioned is that it's leased with an expiration soon. Many garages in London are leased and the operators just renew the lease, much like what happened to MG recently. RP is in a designated regeneration zone, whilst it might get short extension until developers are ready to start work, it isn't same as being in a building expected to continue to be used

Initial plans all those years ago showed the garage eventually being replaced by housing but since then plans could change.

As far as I’m aware the redevelopment for Morden Wharf was always the southern half. The northern side, the depot and other industrial side, wasn’t planned for development. In fact it now has a ten year lease which should expire sometime in the 2030s.

Greenwich and Newham are getting special assistance from the government to speed up planning approvals in the boroughs.

It’s currently safe until at least 2030, even then I don’t see it going as there is a lot of industry on the north side. It would all have to go to make the depot unviable.

There much be some commitment to the garage now the 188 is going electric.

That still only seems to be the southern half. Work has restarted on most of the sites in the area. The value of the land that Go Ahead uses to developers makes a sale very likely. Tower blocks being allowed by the river means a good profit margin.

Tower blocks being allowed by the river means a good profit margin. Either way it’ll be there until at least 2030 as it was specifically mentioned as being given a 10 year lease extension in 2020 after planning permission was granted. It’s in some of the development documents.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czdz4qd8d53oThe Greater London area likely to get it's first Yutong electric buses for service work, albeit not on a TfL service, as the Whitebus 446 into Heathrow & Hatton Cross, and the Falcon 461 into Kingston are set to get new electric buses (Yutong preferred type in the bid) through a successful submission to the DfT ZEBRA2 fund (zero emission bus regional area)

Is routes 143 and C11 going to receive the electric Volvo BZL vehicles later on in the summer, just like the 251?

They’ll also need to increase the frequency of the C11 as well in the future because of the Brent Cross Town development and going through the new roads.
