Checking your Oyster card money

I registered my Oyster card a while back, i even downloaded an app on my phone which tells me how much i got left. So before i go out, i normally check how much i got left on my Oyster card by using an app on my phone called Oyster Balance. So if i havent got enough, i nip off to a newsagents to get it topped up.

So how do you check your oyster card money? Do you check it online or somewhere?

I just put £50 on it and then when it get's down to about £2 I top it up again, I never use the machines or an app to check I just look at what is on the display at the gate line, Nice grammar...
