I look forward to seeing that episode! And since when has a NB4L been 11m tall (although it's probably a mistake for 'long')

I just watched it. Very exciting review from James May. Nice to see it in the country side and on the race track. I am just calming down now...

It was a tedious television version of a TfL press release. I'd also be interested to know just how much damage was done to the bus and other vehicles and whose insurers picked up the tab. I suspect you could say exactly the same things about how it performed about a Volvo B5L or an Alexander Dennis E40H. Given how lively a B5 can be I'd like to see one of those taken round a race track.

Did anyone notice an E400 in the parade at the end of the episode?

Did anyone notice an E400 in the parade at the end of the episode? Yes, there was a fleeting glance of the rear corner of one.

It have knocked one domino down for its publicity on Top Gear. But they should have reviewed the other bus types. But its mainly a car review show with some humour on. But i would like to see a contest between the other double decker hybrid types on the race track. But onwards and upwards for route 11 conversion. Did anyone notice an E400 in the parade at the end of the episode? Yes, its a Spirit of London Enviro400. www.flickr.com/photos/chrisrose1/9167753887/CREDIT: Photo thanks to ChrisRose1 on Flickr

Tedious I think might be a little unfair - it is what it is - an entertainment show, and for the lay-person, the NBfL segment of the show did its job well.
