No they're definitely Alexander bodied'you can tell by the front end. There's 2 Alexander Darts at Northampton S reg 455 & 459 one's 22*** the other 33***. Don't think you quite understood what I was saying, the 22*** are definitely MANs/ALX300s, they look identical to the ALX200s. Both were produced by Alexander but ones longer then the other plus the different chassis, explaining the different class codes.

They are all ADL Enviro bodied vehicles the difference is in the chassis.
22xxx are MAN Lion's City chassis with Enviro 300 body (which are intermixed with MAN chassis ALX300 bodied vehicles).
27xxx are based upon the ADL chassis with Enviro 300 body.
28xxx are based upon Scania chassis with Enviro 300 body.
36xxx are based upon ADL chassis but with the shorter Enviro 200 body (which will spill over into the 37xxx series)
High numbered 39xxx vehicles are based on the MAN chassis again, with the Enviro 200 body.
The Enviro range of bodies has been designed to look almost identical on differing chassis and lengths, indeed such is the standardisation of these bodies that most parts are truly interchangeable.

I claim no ownership of this but it is a very useful spreadsheet, if somewhat out of date. So, with full credit to the original author, here's the spreadsheet of Stagecoach number ranges.
Hope this solves any further problems
