Oh that's odd, I saw a flickr pic of a Metrobus OmniDekka blinded for 126 at Bromley North and TL & TB Enviro400s have blinds for 246. All Metrobus Omnidekkas have blinds for every route at the garage they're allocated to. MB Omnidekkas have routes like 138, 146, 181, 284, 336, 367, B14 plus the R routes as well as the normal routes whilst C Omnidekkas have the 130, 359 as well as the normal routes. No idea why the Enviro 400's have blinds for the 246 unless the trees have been cut - that said, I've not heard or seen one out on the route. Metrobus Omnidekkas were low enough to bypass the trees as they are around the 13'10'' mark. A Omnicity has been on the 359, bet that was fun...not, it did get subbed pretty quickly though.

I thought that the double deck workings on the 108 operate every night, irrespective of events at the Dome. The TfL view was that it was easier to run them every night as the Dome attracts such large numbers. Ted B Correct operated every night. The First DD Journey is at 22:45

Out of curiosity which low bridge is now preventing double deckers on the D8? Member "Trident" has already confined that bridge on Warton Road is not low. I'm aware, I asked the question before @trident replied. But I questioned your statement, because my perception of your earlier post was that D8 was diverted whilst in double decker operation because the bridge on Warton Road was too low, well in fact it's not but Warton road was within the Olympic Park perimeter and was closed throughout the duration of the games last year.

The C1 has taken double deckers during the Circle Line maintenance work. Buses were extras running between Victoria and South Kensington station.

Can only guess its somewhere around Keston before it meets up with the 320.

Metrobus did have some DDs on the T33 when they had it. Abellio don't have T33 on their DD blinds which is a shame as the route does get quite busy.

Can only guess its somewhere around Keston before it meets up with the 320. Fair enough. The Enviro400 are certainly blinded as I saw 2 running brand new through Catford, one displaying "47 Not In Service" and the other displaying "246 Westerham" The new white blinded E400s do not have 246 on them; the 246 is only on the yellow-blinded buses

A pity the 355 wasn't transferred to Q prior to the planned decker blind updates, may have had quite a few odd workers throughout.... even if only on the manual wind buses.
By chance can the 255 in theory handle a decker along the revised Balham extension or are there low height obstructions, ie tree branches, etc?

From what I can remember when doing some driving lessons along the extension, there isn't any low height obstructions unless anything has sprung up since I last had a lesson around the area.
