A pity the 355 wasn't transferred to Q prior to the planned decker blind updates, may have had quite a few odd workers throughout.... even if only on the manual wind buses. By chance can the 255 in theory handle a decker along the revised Balham extension or are there low height obstructions, ie tree branches, etc? The only buses 355 is elligible to use at Q are it's LDPs and the manual-blinded WHYs, unless the PVLs, VPs and B7TLs receive inserts for it or the WVLs, WHVs, Es, VWLs receive new blinds for it.

Can only guess its somewhere around Keston before it meets up with the 320. Fair enough. The Enviro400 are certainly blinded as I saw 2 running brand new through Catford, one displaying "47 Not In Service" and the other displaying "246 Westerham" Just thought I'd clarify why I think it's Keston rather than anywhere beyond Biggin Hill as I forgot to give a reason - the low tree problem came to light when there was talk of deckers being used on the 246 under ELBG when the Biggin Hill airshow was on - that makes me think Keston is the problem area.

Is there anything that prevents routes B15 and B16 from being worked by DDs?

And from a cost point of view, there would be little value for that to be done by Go-Ahead as there is a big enough pool of single decks that can be used on the 355. Camberwell Garage would probably like some DD's to be blinded for a bit of fleet flexibility though, I imagine it would be added only when there is a necessary blind change or new buses. So, maybe the WVL's transferred in for the 185 are now blinded?? The main reason for all the DD workings on the 42 was the unreliability of the ELS fleet (there are 3 spares!) and MW has a DWL to look after that, making 4 spares for one 11 bus route as far as I know! Merton was always lucky as it could put a DD on any of its SD routes, although I've always thought the scheduled journeys on the 163 are unnecessary. The 200 could do with being fully DD. Route 80 used to have DD's on it almost daily, but I do not see the route now so unsure if that still happens.

Not quite all their routes as the 201 goes under a low bridge in the Tulse Hill area.

Very rare but the 116 has also had done double deck workings. I've noticed a few TA's ,TLA's and SP's.

Route 62, 296, 66, 396, 173 all Have Frequent Double Deck Workings but AFAIK only the 62 has them Scheduled.
on a Pretty Funny Note I saw one of BE's ENs with its Rear blinds on the 193, it was pretty amusing as i never knew the Route Could take Double Deckers
