Another rarely used stand is at the bottom of Barry Road by Dulwich library. This stand is mainly used by Route 12 before running light to Q. It has also been used by Route 176 and 185 on turns. Probably the 197 as well. I didn't mention the 197 as the last time I saw one on a turn, the driver parked up on Lordship Lane. That stand I mentioned does suffer from cars illegally parking at the stand.

Dee Road, Richmond: Stand for Route 371 before extension to Manor Circus Sainsbury's in April 2011. According to Google Streetview imagery from September 2012 the stand was still there, complete with road markings and flag.

Lower Feltham , Chertsey Road, actually situated in Walton Gardens. Used to be scheduled on the former 237 & some 117 trips. I think there is a stand off Westwood Hill in Lawrie Park Gardens in Sydenham. I presume the turning point for Sydenham Station , Cobbs Corner.

Yeah, your right, just had a look on Google Street and there is one on Lawrie Park Gardens next to a school just off Westwood Hill. Has no flagpole but the markings are on the road.

Tooting Bec Gardens is in Streatham and has the former 133 stand on the left. Not sure what your road your on about. I believe sw11simon is referring to upper tooting park, which is just off balham high road near tooting bec. I actually had a brief look when I went past there while running light from clapham only a few days ago and I saw two bus stands but both on the same side (heading towards trinity road). I know there was a bus stand in myton road, west norwood for the 322. Not sure if its still there. I wonder if that stand in east dulwich is still there also. I think theres also a bus stand in addiscombe somewhere for the 289 when it turns to ashburton park. But I can't remember exactly where it is You also got a bus stand in silverthorne road near QB garage, and a stand in carshalton wrythe green. I only used it a few times when I had a turn there on the 157 The 88 used to use the Upper Tooting Park bus stand as a Balham curtailment back in the days when it used to terminate at Tooting Mitre. Any idea if the old route 19 bus stand is gone from Tooting Bec? I remember the Wrythe Green bus stand pretty well as I used to pass it back in the days when the N44 went via Carshalton and Wallington.

Tolworth Red Lion where the 265 stands , was a reactivated one. For years the marking was visible on the road but no flag pole.
Hammersmith Met Station , used the 267 on Sundays until sometime around late 1980's was the cobbled access road in front of the now Hammersmith & City / Circle line station. Metal lettered markings are still visible in the cobbles marking out the bus stand.
Another favourite of mine which i think has gone now , but Kensington Palace Gate. This was a stand in the middle of the road in Palace Gate. It was used quite a bit by the 9,49,52,73 back in those days, with the Queens Gate stand, in Prince Consort Road used solely by Fulwell's 33.

I have just thought of a very obscure one. Union Street Kingston. It is on a narrow stub of road, pole has DR on the red disc, full road markings and where the route tiles normally go has a sticker that it is served by dial-a-ride.
Can't think of any others like this, might technically be classified as a stop rather than stand but has no scheduled routes. Another oddity is its on a no through road.

Treaty Centre, Hounslow. Located just before Stop P, mainly used by Dial A Ride, and TGM who set down and pick up passengers there. Don't know any more details about whether it is a scheduled service or not, a Google search hasn't turned up anything.

Presumably used by either the 122, 202 or 450. Sydenham turns on Route 176 either travel light to Norwood Garage or park in Kirkdale returning to Tottenham Court Road.

Hampton Station, the stand on Ashley Road (on the Waterloo platform side), the one on the Shepperton side I think is used slightly more (for both rail replacement services and the occasional turn at Hampton Station
Brook Green was the stand for 266/267/H91 before the lower bus station was opened.
Also in Hammersmith, there is a stand on Hammersmith Broadway roundabout which is right in one of the busiest sections of the roundabout, opposite the entrance for the Lower bus station and entrance/exit for northbound/eastbound buses.

Hawkstone Road, Surrey Quays: There used be a stand for this also and it was for buses doing Rail Replacements. But the flagpole got removed and Rail Replacement buses now serve or terminate at Surrey Quays Station.
New Cross Station, Pagnell Street: I remember seeing a bus stand parked near the houses where the 225 passes many years ago and it used to be a stand for route 225 if it's being curtailed to New Cross. But now the stand has been removed and lots of cars are now parked there.
East Greenwich Library: There is also a stand for routes terminating at East Greenwich Library. I've forgotten the road's name the stand is on but it's by East Greenwich Library.
Bricklayers Arms, New Kent Road: There is a bus stand but it's never used and I'm guessing that it is for Coaches as I've seen coaches parked on the stand.

There uses to be a stand in cherry tree lane , south hornchurch near the junction of the old a13 but never saw it used. Wood Lane near martins corner used to have one that was used a lot by the 148 when it used to go to leytonstone .

Hampton Station, the stand on Ashley Road (on the Waterloo platform side), the one on the Shepperton side I think is used slightly more (for both rail replacement services and the occasional turn at Hampton Station Brook Green was the stand for 266/267/H91 before the lower bus station was opened. Also in Hammersmith, there is a stand on Hammersmith Broadway roundabout which is right in one of the busiest sections of the roundabout, opposite the entrance for the Lower bus station and entrance/exit for northbound/eastbound buses. Routes 266/267 and H91 used the Hammersmith Grove stand not Brook Green Hotel. The latter stand used to be very busy. At various times in the 1960s during the week it would have the 9(mainly Dalston scheduled short workings from the east but with a few Mortlake ones from the west); scheduled short workings on the 11(in the days when it still ran to Shepherds Bush), Brook Green to Hounslow workings on the 33, route 71(replaced on Sundays by the 90C), short workings on the 72 heading south to Roehampton/Esher and rush hour workings on the 116. In 1965 when the 255 was reallocated to Riverside all evening journeys terminated at Brook Green. In the late evenings when Riverside garage was at the peak of its run in and parking up buses for the night then Brook Green also played host to short working journeys from the north on the 27 and terminating buses on the 73 and 74B. As you can see it was a very busy stand and had a point inspector allocated from 7am till midnight. From 9pm the stand used to get even busier and there could often be chaos because of parked cars on both sides of the entrance approach. These cars belonged to people going to both the famous Hammersmith Palais and the the Garryowen Dance Hall both on Shepherds Bush Road. Despite Hammersmith Police Station being a few minutes away, the police did not seem to think bus services being disrupted was a priority. Buses would often get stuck and so following buses would travel further along Shepherds Bush Road and then reverse onto the stand via the 'exit'. As no solution was forthcoming and severe disruption was being caused to some services London Transport diverted the services that normally terminated in Riverside Garage to a new stand on Hammersmith Bridge Road facing west. There was no actual marked stand, buses merely pulled up at the side of the road, but it at least meant that the 27. 73 and 74B were no longer affected by the parked cars at Brook Green. Sadly the 11 and 33 suffered this late night congestion for many years. Eventually the Hammersmith Palais and Garryowen closed down. Ironically if Brook Green was still being used as a stand regularly today, such a situation would soon be dealt with because the entrance to the new Hammersmith Fire Station is by the entrance to the stand. The last regular use of the stand I can recall was when Hounslow ran the Sunday service on the 9. Their drivers tended to run down to Brook Green to take their meal reliefs. When the 71 was withdrawn north of Richmond in 1967 and the the 90C introduced daily, the latter was withdrawn from Brook Green and instead scheduled to terminate at the new stand in the Met. station forecourt. The 116 also migrated to the Met station. In September 1968 the 90C was withdrawn and the new 90A(Sun afternoons) and the new 290 used the Met. station. The Sunday service on the 267 was moved from the Grove to the Met. station so that on this day of the week it served Butterwick. This was to help tourists who wished to go to Hampton Court but found it difficult to negotiate the subways of Hammersmith Broadway to get to the Grove. Between 1970 and 1973 the 72 was an alternative between Hammersmith and Hampton Court but it went the long way round, had more expensive 'out county' fares and a half hourly frequency.

Just remembered one...
Glennarific Avenue, Island Gardens: This stand is used for routes D3 and D7 whenever they are curtailed to Island Gardens although this turn doesn't seem to happen much.
