I've done both the 93 & 154 end to end today.
Other routes I've done end to end the past few weeks: 153, 161, 269, 372, 379 & 496. (I put these in numerical order not in chronological order)
What did you think of the 154? That’s one I’ve wanted to do for a while now 269 is a brilliant route

That’s one I’ve wanted to do for a while now 269 is a brilliant route 154 is a lovely route, it goes through many nice area such as Sutton, Carshalton and Wallington, plus it uses short section of Croydon flyover and not to mention it uses wonderful DOE's with superb view out of the upper deck front window of which is why I wanted to do the route so much along with the 93, I would recommend the 93 for nice greenery of Putney Heath & Wimbledon Common and picturesque Wimbledon Village plus for those DOE's as well
Do agree on that the 269 is an very nice route

Do agree on that the 269 is an very nice route Wimbledon village is very nice I did it on the 493, another very nice route We obviously have differing views on those DOEs, I think they’re awful things, although I hate ML’s SELs more. I think that huge front window is more of a flaw tbh, especially when the sun is pointing directly at it .... if I do the 154 I’ll try and get a G2

How was it like with the 372? And how long did you have to wait? 😂

How was it like with the 372? And how long did you have to wait? 😂 Only waited 5 minutes at Hornchurch and TBH I did time myself to ensure minimal waiting time as possible. As for the route itself it is a pleasant route with nice views to some farms and the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge though the E400 (19730) I had was a bit sluggish on faster roads between Rainham and Lakeside

I done it whilst it had the EVL’s - it’s a good route with the right driver. What’s an EVL?? They were B7TL East Lancs Vyking and were all allocated to A for the 93, 154 & 213.

What did you think of the 154? That’s one I’ve wanted to do for a while now 269 is a brilliant route I did the 154 a few weeks ago. It was better than I thought it was going to be and despite it being nearly the PM peak the driver was determined to make decent progress despite the ever more congested roads. I then did the K5 - I think my head is still spinning from that. How the drivers remember that route is beyond me.

I remember those very well, used to take those when my grandparents lived in South Wimbledon from time to time when I was little. I didn’t like them too much though, but I’m rather suprised they only lasted one contract before the DOE’s came in, were they leased? I also remember on the top deck there was no moquette on a few of the seats close to the rear. I thought this was in preparation for their withdrawal but turns out it was to prevent vandalism, which I only found out recently.

I think however three of them moved to SW after the DOE introduction and lasted until 2011, which ones were they? I remember EVL5 being one of them but not sure about the other three.

I believe that these were simply plastic seats and were also used on certain AVLs as well
