Just fell across some of the info about the vast scale of development at Vauxhall and Nine Elms. I was unaware there will be so many tower blocks at Vauxhall. Reading the Transport Strategy shows that there will be huge pressures on the transport infrastructure in the area. There's a huge reliance on the Northern Line Extension to cope with the demand but bus service demand will also surge. There is apparently a £42.5m (2010 values) contribution to bolster existing bus services by 20% plus fund some new or extended routes through the development area. There are some rough outlines as to where the new routes might run. What is interesting is that there is a medium priority on retaining Vauxhall Bus Station in order to retain convenient interchange and yet the plan now (as already posted about) is to demolish and close the Bus Station! Nice to see everything is co-ordinated.

A brief look gives me the impression that the P5 would get a slight extension to Battersea Park. Maybe the 360 could have slight ammendments to its route. I doubt that the 156 would be extended past Victoria though.
