The removal of one traffic lane to keep straight on Pentonville Road at the junction with Kings Cross Road isn't a good idea, all that will happen is traffic wanting to travel up Pentonville Road will get stuck in the lane filtering into Kings Cross Road, and end up having to stop, blocking traffic behind and not being let in by anyone! This already happens but at least there are 2 lanes to cope with it.
As we all know, its an unfortunate consequence of Londons tight design where cycle lanes must take over road space as there is no room to expand outwards without reducing pavement size, which isn't favoured.
Whatever people say or object to, this will be done anyway, so, even more traffic created!
