Hello all,
Was just thinking do bus companies ever order new blinds with routes currently operated by other companies in the hoping of winning the route on tender?

The first VWs at HT had 24 on them before the result became official Some of the DDs at Quality Line have 64 on them!

Not quite the same but the Omnicitys at PD were ordered with the 54 on their blinds which was lost by Stagecoach not long after. The 54 was operated by TL at the time.

This one isn't quite the same either, but the PVLs and 59 plate WVLs at NX have blinds for the 172. They just haven't changed them since. And if I'm correct, the 54 plate PVLs still had blinds for the 343 before they moved to AL.

When TGM took on the 112, I'm sure I read the Caetano's blindset's contained all of the Thorpes routes at the time

As far as I know, the 03 & 53 reg VLA's & VLA70-73 at N still have 249 on their blinds whilst 03, 53 & 04 reg should still have 689 on them.

Don't the Abellio E200's from 2011/2012 have 216 included? Off topic and for lost routes: Most SP's at AV/HH and almost all buses at FW/TV still have the 411/641 on them (and K1/K3 for many FV/TV single deckers). AH's yellow blind VW's have the 635 . At least one of the Nimbuses on the 112 has destination blinds for the E6 (and I think some of the Mini Darts for the H28 did too). At Greenford and Hayes, all buses except the SN's have the 105 on the blinds (yes even the Mini E200's ). Most buses at WH still have the 257 and 678.
