More from me: SPs at FW have 290, 411, 467 and 641 on them Some of the SPs at AV and HH have 411 on them SDEs and DEs still have K1 and K3 on them The 51 reg TAs had 85 on them on their original blind sets, I imagine this meant until 2007-2008 some of them have 85 on them. The 02 reg at FW have 290, 406, 411 and R70 on them. Interestingly 406 has 'Kingston' as a via point. TA315, assuming blinds haven't been replaced, still has 85 on it (may also be the case with the 02-reg ones) Sounds like a similar issue to some TA/TLA blinds at HH which use Hounslow West as a H91 via point at the front

There must of been some proposal to extend the 406 beyond Kingston as the 417 has Clapham Common as a via point despite terminating there and it had a proposal to be extended to Clapham Junction but never went ahead for whatever reason.

Until it recently got its WOB blinds, 9739 still had blinds for the 60 & 196, both routes were lost not far off 10 years ago. It was the same for the 55/06 reg Volvos at WL prior to their WOB fittings last year. I believe some of their 51 reg Tridents on the 381 may still have those two routes. You've just reminded me, the 54 reg Volvos at WL had 196 on the blinds as well.

PVR was planned to be 10. Only the 51 reg had 85 on them, the 02 reg don't have them (I own a TA front blind dated at May 2002)

Some history here (note the mix of garages, F (Putney Bridge), AF, NB, LH, WY, K, FW) www.londonbuses.co.uk/routes/085.html

Wow...Just had a look at that link. So much happened back then... Yes a huge amount did happen - I recently went through all the 2002 TLBs and there were pages of changes every month. Thanks to LX09FBJ for digging that web page out as it gives some more detail to some changes I knew a little bit about. Such a shame that a few of the proposals never reached the light of day and probably never will again. We really need another period of renaissance in the bus network like we had in 2002.

Thought I'd have a check on our blinds and hey presto, this is still on there!

Thought I'd have a check on our blinds and hey presto, this is still on there! I didn't expect them to change the T's blinds yet, I think T's went out on the 249 just twice. Whilst your here 'moz', do you know why they've began to tape over the 'St Leonard's Church' part on the blinds?

Also, the plain 'Streatham' display is right at the other end of the blind to Liverpool Street and the constant winding up and down has meant the blinds started to tear, thus they taped over the 'St Leonard's' bit to give them a bit more life. Moz When I saw a couple in London Bridge the other day. It looked like it was Black Marker Pen, as I could still the the St Leonard's Church underneath but very faint.

On the same (ish) topic, why was 'West End Green' deleted off the 139s TP blinds?
