I have been asked if anyone has heard of a route X63, which supposedly ran at peak periods. Some years ago. Has anyone any knowledge of it and if do, any details? I have searched and come up short of a result.

There was an X53 for a while in the 80s and 90s which was a limited stop version of the 53. Never heard of a London X63 though.

There was an X 53 for a while in the 80s and 90s which was a limited stop version of the 53. Never heard of a London X63 though. Yes the X53, which run from Oxford Circus to Thamesmead, was withdrawn when the JLE opened. There was also once an X43 but never an X63.

Remember TfL trying to withdrawn the X26 but local people across South London area won't have it and against the TfL to withdrawn. so In the end, X26 carry on.

Cheers for the replies fellas. It was a mini cab driver who said it ran a few years ago and ran from the Peckham area into and out of Central London in the peaks (like the X68). I didn't think there was one, but had to enquire from those with the knowledge.
