Which of your local routes are on a rota with a differernt route? For example the 127 and 434 are on the same rota. Pretty sure 264 & 403 is also.

I think the 166 and 412 and the 197 and 312 are at TC as well? The 36 and 171 at NX? I'm sure there are many other examples although I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I believe the 219 and 270 are still on the same rota, as are the 44 and 77 and possibly the 163 and 164 (which until 2006 was linked with the 152). The 155 and 355 separated from each other quite a while before the 355 moved to Q.
I remember the 37 and P12 being on the same rota, not sure if that is the case now. When I was at Stockwell all their night routes were on one big rota.

The N1 uses one bus from route 1, this is the bus that starts at 00:30 from TCR and terminates at Thamesmead at 01:45 sometimes 02:00 then runs light to MW. I believe the same driver from the 1 does the N1.

Isn't there already a thread for this subject? Well if not...
- I think the 172 and 188 have the same rota. There's usually 1 E400 or Gemini used for the AM Peak on the 172. Then between 10 and 11AM this bus moves onto the 188 for the rest of the day. - I also think that the 68/X68 and 468 have the same rota. At around 9AM on weekdays there's a bus blinded for the 468 parked on Waterloo Road (St George's Circus). Now given the X68 only runs during the peak, the bus most likely comes from this route. But I could be wrong. - And regarding the 36 and 171 being on the same rota, I would have thought that it would be the 36 and 436 instead. But then again, the use of E400s on the 171 daily could support that idea. - There's also the 75 and 208 rota I believe. One bus from the 208 AM Peak switching to the 75?

From the working timetables it seems that PD is as follows:
53/122 are together (with school runs) 472/177 are together 291/386 are together
Rest seem to be by themselves.....
BUT - this is only what it looks like on the timetables - may be wrong (I was involved in a thread on here about PD rotas which seems different to the above list), seems to make sense though.

The 68/468 and X68 are completely interworked. Early morning journeys on the X68 did become 68/468 after their trip (2 x 68 and 1 x 468 if I recall correctly but that was on the previous schedule) however nothing was as late as described above on that schedule. There were not any duties that worked X68 on both halves. The 36/436 could almost certainly be joint compiled as easily as the 36/171, however the 36/171 arrangement was already in place when the 436 was bendybus so therefore left that way. The 360/P5 are on the same rota (used to be 484/P5) At Merton the 44 and 77 were always operated together but separated for the last tender award and have remained separate. I am not sure if the 219/270 returned together. The 163/164 are operated together, Sunday workings on route 22 are also on that rota. At Sutton 151 drivers do the 164 on Sundays. At Waterloo the 507/521 are a common rota.
