I really don't think Brazil were ready for this match.

I really don't think Brazil were ready for this match. They were not playing as a team imo, plus I even saw a pic on FB of Fans burning their own National Flag...

I still fail to find the amusement in watching a bunch of people kick around a ball of leather filled with air for 90 minutes?

I still fail to find the amusement in watching a bunch of people kick around a ball of leather filled with air for 90 minutes? I must admit that I was in shock in reading this statement Its now got me thinking as to why I watch football? And I couldn't give an answer other than that I just love watching it. And its even better when you put money on it You want to see your favourite players perform the fancy moves everyone talking about and scores the greatest goals you never thought were possible. Of course, not all games are good to watch and especially the Belgium games where a bunch of men were kicking a ball of air for no reason. Anyway, I'm glad that Brazil are out as they didn't deserve to be in the semi final imo but I was still quite shocked at the score line especially when you consider how big a football nation that is Brazil

There are some talented but very rude / sarcastic / witty / cruel people out there.

Imagine being there for celebrations on a semi final win on their home turf, let alone the World Cup. Anyway in Fairplay Germany did very very well, where as Brazil... well let's just say that even England would've had a chance against them in that game.

I still fail to find the amusement in watching a bunch of people kick around a ball of leather filled with air for 90 minutes? Me too... Then again I find amusement at watching a bunch of people hit balls with a stick and attempting to run around in a square Baseball??? I general watch most sports and enjoy them. I think its about supporting a team or someone and going through the emotions. If your are a neutral you want excitement and drama and that does not always happen in football (Its does happen in American Football, which I recommend to anyone). As for 7-1, wow, I saw that coming, well after it was 5-0.

I don't often watch football, but when I do it is indeed for the emotions and that sense of family when people get together for that battle over the ball. In some ways it's like watching a soap opera, especially where nowadays footballers are 'performing' to get the referees sympathy for free kicks or even to impose a card on the opponent.

Brazil is actually the national team I support despite not being Brazilian (don't ask please lol) so as it got to 3-0, I switched it off and went to watch Big Brother today.
Scolari's tatics haven't been right all tournament - he should of just stuck with the same formation & tatics he used during the Confederation Cup where Neymar was wide left with Oscar in the middle.
