" Sub-regional transport plans outline what investment has taken place and what is required over the coming years to keep London moving" Although these do not boldly mention plans for the bus network, if you read between the lines you'll realise some of the town centre changes (e.g. Harlesden gyratory removal, etc.) will results in major bus route changes. The key proposals for the Bus: • BusPriority Schemes at pinch points • Improved Local Bus services Check out the direct regions of London: South
West
North
East & South East

I haven't come across those plans before but knew they were produced by TfL. They are not terribly consistent especially on buses. The North London document has a specific future opportunity about better bus services plus some specific stuff about better modal interchanges (Seven Sisters / South Tottenham). There is also something about promoting orbital bus links - oooh adverts about the 123 sometime in the next decade or two However these more general future opportunities for buses don't feature on any other plans that I can see from a quick scan. East / South East does get quite a few mentions about new link roads and possible bus priority - often near the main Crossrail hubs. I'd have imagined that bus service improvement was a future opportunity for all parts of London. Given the huge numbers of extra houses you'd certainly expect that to be the case. Some areas are notable for getting a lot of extra houses but no transport enhancement. NW London seems very badly off in that respect.
