Stagecoach(Northampton garage)have taken over Milton Keynes routes 90/90A from Centrebus. For those of us who do not follow things in detail how many routes have Centrebus lost recently? I assume they have given the word "more" in the thread title. I've never quite understood where Centrebus came from or how they came to have such an odd portfolio of routes.

Centrebus are based in Leicester and ran a number of low frequency routes in North Bucks & Northamptonshire, lately they seem to be withdrawing from these routes. In the last year they've lost the W3 in Wellingborough as well as the Milton Keynes routes already mentioned. They still run the W8 in Wellingborough but it's very unreliable & I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose that as well.

I remember Arriva used to have a 40% stake in Centrebus Holdings but I think they sold their stake a few years ago.
